Egg Freezing, also known as mature oocyte cryopreservation is a technique used to reserve a woman’s eggs for future pregnancy.
Intra-uterine insemination (IUI) – a type of artificial insemination is a procedure for treating infertility. Sperms that have been washed and concentrated are placed directly in the uterus around the time, the ovary releases one or more eggs to be fertilised, with the hope for an outcome of IUI which is for the sperm to swim into the fallopian tube and possibly fertilise the egg.
In-vitro fertilisation (IVF) is a complex series of procedures used to help with fertility problems/ prevent genetic problems and assist with the conception of a child. During IVF, mature eggs are collected from ovaries and fertilised by the sperm in a lab. Then the fertilised egg (embryo) or eggs (embryos) are transferred to a uterus.
